The Dragonfyre Association is a collective of unique individuals who share a deep and abiding passion for several things. Beer, games, and movies are primary among these. Formed in 1995 under the less-than inspired name of The Red Dragon Club, it morphed several years later into Clan Linnorm (taken from the linnorm dragons found in the 1st Annual Monstrous Compendium for AD&D). Somewhere around 2000 or 2001 the name was changed to the Dragonfyre Gaming Association, or DFGA for short. We are a closeknit group of friends living in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, MN.

Bockfest 2008!

The fine folk at the Schell Brewery in New Ulm, MN, (about 80 miles southwest of the metro area) are throwing a fetival called Bockfest 2008 on February 2nd, 2008 (that's a Saturday). You can check out the site at the following URL: http://www.schellsbrewery.com/newsevents_info.php?id=6.

Bottom line, though - we need to go. Simple as that. Clear your schedules for Saturday, February 2nd because we are taking a pilgrimage down to New Ulm for Bockfest 2008. And on Sunday, February 3rd, is the Super Bowl. A weekend truly filled with fun, frivolity, and massive quantities of beer.

Yep, sounds fun. I'm always up for a trip, after all. What is the exact plan for Saturday, then? And what about Sunday?
